Scope
- Full screen-by-screen redesign of the iOS app
- Integrated Marquee Design System tokens and components
- Covered core flows: browsing, showtime selection, seat maps, food ordering, and Victory loyalty rewards
Design decisions
- Dark-first throughout: cinema is a dark-room experience and the app should feel like one
- Amber accent carries the Drafthouse brand warmth into the digital product
- Dense information hierarchy on the “Now Playing” screen mirrors how regulars actually scan for showtimes
